Map the current process

List who gathers data, prepares plans, reviews exceptions, approves changes, and implements them. Measure where delays and rework occur. Choose one repetitive step with a clear owner for the first automation trial.

Run alongside the existing workflow

Compare proposed outputs with the current process using the same inputs. Ask operators to review differences and identify missing context. Keep a practical fallback until the new workflow is understood and accepted.

Train around real tasks

Use a familiar facility and actual exceptions during training. Document approvals, support contacts, and recovery steps. Review adoption and error patterns with the team before expanding the scope.
